Westex Exquisite Velvet Carpet Product Info

Westex Exquisite Velvet Collection is a high density tenth gauge carpet. As a result you get ten tufts every inch across the width of the carpet. You also get a stitch rate (the amount of tufts per inch going down the length of the carpet) of 12.25 and consequently achieve over 122 tufts per square inch. This gives Exquisite Velvet a very smooth finish and combined with a 2 fold 80% wool 20% nylon yarn, achieves a suitability rating of extra heavy duty residential and extra heavy duty commercial use.

Westex Exquisite Velvet is treated with Stain Resist which consequently helps keep your carpet looking newer for longer and Actiguard for ultimate freshness and protection. Furthermore, Exquisite Velvet is treated to prevent dustmites therefore making it more suitable for people with certain allergies.

In addition to the standard sixty colours for a relatively small premium, Westex offer a special dye service (subject to minimum quantity) so you can create a unique colour that’s just right for your home.

For those customers with underfloor heating; it’s important that your carpet and underlay choice don’t exceed 2.5 tog. Exquisite velvet has a tog rating of 1.67 leaving you 0.83 tog for an underlay.

Westex Exquisite Velvet Carpet Delivery

Depending on where you live, delivery of this Westex Exquisite Velvet Carpet will be made by either our in house delivery team or our one of our specialist couriers. You will be advised which method is being used when we arrange delivery.

Within three working days of placing an order, you will receive an email which will give you an approximate delivery date. Once your goods have been received from the manufacturer and dispatched by us, you will receive a further email update. Should you require any further information regarding delivery status, please email us at updates@hammondhill.co.uk . We respond to all emails within 48 hours although we normally get back to you a lot sooner.

You will need to be at the delivery address to sign for your goods unless you have previously notified us by email that you wish the goods to be left unattended.

We do not accept any liability for damage to a customer’s property by our vehicles, drivers, our agents vehicles, our agents drivers or the goods being delivered. If you do not accept this condition please arrange to meet our driver at the boundary of your property to accept the goods. Any claims for damage to customer’s property will not be accepted. Please note, our delivery service is to ground floor only unless you have previously advised us differently and we have noted this on your Order Confirmation / Invoice.

Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery before signing the couriers’ paperwork. No claims with regard to damage / incorrect / missing items will be accepted after the courier has left the delivery address unless signed for as damaged / incorrect / missing items on the couriers paperwork.

We will do our best to ensure that your Westex Exquisite Velvet Carpet is delivered on the date agreed. There are times however when this is simply not possible due to unforeseen obstacles encountered by our drivers, whilst attempting to deliver the order. If the customer is not available when we attempt delivery we will return the goods to our warehouse and a new delivery date will need to be arranged.
