Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your order.

We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details.

Goods are subject to availability.

In the event that we are unable to supply the goods we will inform you of this as soon as possible and a full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.

We will send you an e-mail to confirm that your order is being processed, providing you enter a correct e-mail address

If there should be any delays or problems with your order we will inform you.

Pricing and Payment

We accept all major debit and credit cards

You will be charged the current price for buying goods from our website at the date you place your order. All prices are displayed on our website and are inclusive of VAT where applicable at 17.5%.

We reserve the right to amend prices.

We do our best to make sure that prices are correctly shown but very occasionally an error may occur. If this should happen we will correct the price and ask you to confirm whether you still wish to purchase the goods at the correct price.

Delivery

Providing goods are in stock at the point of order, we will despatch your goods within 3 working days. Should the ordered goods be out of stock or the item ordered be a non stock item, we will advise you of an anticipated delivery date.

Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery before signing the courier's paperwork. No claims with regard to damaged / incorrect items can be made after the courier has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged / incorrect on delivery.

We pride ourselves on offering a fast, efficient and specialised delivery service. Unlike most other companies we do not use couriers. Our deliveries are made on our own vehicles using our own highly trained staff.

We are able to narrow delivery times down to am or pm and upon request, can ask the driver to call you an hour before they arrive. This can avoid having to take a day off work or waiting in all day.

Delivery costs if applicable with be calculated at the check-out. We deliver to all UK mainland addresses and UK shipping ports. A surcharge may apply to some parts of Scotland regardless of value. Please call us to prior to ordering should you live in any of the following post codes - KW, IV, AB & PH. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland.

Once we have received your order, we will contact you and advise you of an anticipated delivery date.

You will need to be at the delivery address to sign for your goods unless you have previously notified us by email that you wish the goods to be left unattended.

Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery before signing the couriers' paperwork. No claims with regard to damage / incorrect items will be accepted after the courier has left the delivery address unless signed for as damaged / incorrect items on the couriers paperwork.

You will need to be at the delivery address to sign for the goods unless you have advised us by email that you wish the goods to be left unattended.

Returns Policy

At Hammond Hill Limited we want you to be happy every time you shop with us. If you are not satisfied with your purchase or have changed your mind, we will offer you a refund, or exchange your item if you decide it's not what you're looking for. This must be done within 7 days on receiving your item(s). To return your items, please send them to Returns Dept., Hammond Hill Limited, 27 market Street, Stourbridge, West Midands, DY8 1AB. Please enclose a copy of the delivery note with the goods. You will be responsible for any postage charges. All returned (non-faulty) goods must be in their original unopened packaging and in a condition that would enable us to sell the item to someone else as new. Certain items are excluded from our returns policy. These include items of flooring that have been specifically cut to size, custom made items and items of furniture that have had additional features added. If you are unsure of whether the item(s) purchased are included in our 7 day return policy, please contact us before order.

Please note that any delivery charges will not be refunded, nor will any postage costs incurred by returning the item(s) to us, unless the item(s) are faulty.

Cancellation

Members of the European Union have a 7 day "cooling off period" in which time they may cancel their order. You have the right to cancel your order with Hammond Hill Limited and to return your complete order within 7 working days of receipt for any reason. Goods must be returned at your expense, unopened and in their original condition. It is your responsibility to ensure the safe return of the goods and we therefore recommend that you obtain appropriate insurance to cover the cost of the goods. Once we have received the goods, we will refund all monies paid, providing the goods have not been damaged, opened or altered in any way. Certain items are excluded from our returns policy. These include items of flooring that have been specifically cut to size, custom made items and items of furniture that have had additional features added. If you are unsure of whether the item(s) purchased are included in our 7 day return policy, please contact us before order. We do not accept the return of part orders. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods. Please note that we can only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of our error. This must be arranged beforehand by email to or calling 01384 372908. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Indemnity

You agree to fully indemnify us, our employees, agents and suppliers immediately on demand from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses arising out of any breach by you of these terms and conditions or by your use of this website, or the use of any other person accessing this website using your shopping account or your personal information.

Liability

We are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business or other consequential, special or indirect loss, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation, whether caused by our negligence or not, arising out of or in connection with the products offered for sale on this website or their use or resale by you. We are not liable to pay you any compensation other than a refund equal to the price of the products that you have paid us for.

This clause is not intended to exclude our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence. The risk of damage or loss of products purchased passes to you when delivery is made. Delivery is made at the time we leave the products at the address specified by you. We cannot accept any claims beyond this point. All implied warranties and undertakings are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.

All sizes and measurements are approximate.

The reproduction of products and colour on our website is as accurate as the photographic and production process will allow, and may also be viewed differently depending on the type of monitor used by you to view our website.
