This model reclines to an almost flat position. Unlike a single motor recliner, the dual motor has independent control of the backrest and footrest from the handset. Therefore the chair can be reclined whilst the footrest is in its lowered position. A feature of this chair is the Delta's powerful motor and rigid-rise construction meaning that not only can the Dual Motor chairs lift up to 25 stone, but there is little sideways movement in the lift position - making the recliner more stable.
