Delivery

Most deliveries are carried out by our own staff on our own vehicles. Our delivery drivers are experienced, trustworthy and reliable. Our normal service is to ground floor only unless you have previously made arrangements with us and we have noted this on your order confirmation. If you need your delivery sooner than our in-house team can deliver, we can arrange for a courier to deliver your goods. In this case delivery is to the kerbside and usually on an approximate date although if you're nice and make them a coffee it often works miracles.

When our own staff deliver, we are able to narrow delivery times down to am or pm and upon request, can ask our driver to call you an hour before they arrive. This can avoid having to take a day off work or waiting in all day.

Delivery costs will be calculated at the checkout. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Shetlands, Orkneys or Western Isles. Although we don’t deliver directly to Jersey, we can deliver your goods to a shipping port and once provided with proof of export, refund the VAT.

We want the delivery of your order to run as smoothly as possible.

If you have ordered a carpet, we will normally receive this into our warehouse within seven to ten working days. If you have ordered an item of furniture, we will normally receive this into our warehouse between two weeks and eight weeks. You will find a more accurate timescale on the relevant product page on our website.

Once your goods have been received (and only when received) we will contact you to book in delivery.

Depending on where you live, delivery will be made by either our in house delivery team or our specialist courier. You will be advised which method is being used when we arrange delivery.

We know you will be eager to receive your order and rest assured that as soon as we receive your order form the manufacturer/supplier, we will contact you to arrange delivery.

You will need to be at the delivery address to sign for your goods unless you have previously notified us by email that you wish the goods to be left unattended.

We do not accept any liability for damage to a customer’s property by our vehicles, drivers, our agents vehicles, our agents drivers or the goods being delivered. If you do not accept this condition please arrange to meet our driver at the boundary of your property to accept the goods. Any claims for damage to customer’s property will not be accepted. Please note, our delivery service is to ground floor only unless you have previously advised us differently and we have noted this on your Order Confirmation / Invoice.

Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery before signing the couriers' paperwork. No claims with regard to damage / incorrect / missing items will be accepted after the courier has left the delivery address unless signed for as damaged / incorrect / missing items on the couriers paperwork.

We will do our best to ensure that your order is delivered on the date agreed. There are times however when this is simply not possible due to unforeseen obstacles encountered by our drivers, whilst attempting to deliver the order. If the customer is not available when we attempt delivery we will return the goods to our warehouse and a new delivery date will need to be arranged.
