Celebrity sofas come with a number of different actions. The available actions for each model will be listed on the relevant page.

Action Types

1. Fixed: This type of sofa does not recline.

2. Manual: These sofas have either a latch or handle at either end of the sofa. This allows the footrest to rise to a horizontal position and also allows the back rest to recline about 50 degrees.

3. Single Motor: This is an electric recliner with one motor that operates both the footrest and the backrest. When you press the recliner button, initially the footrest raises. When (and only when) the footrest is in a horizontal position, you can adjust the backrest. The backrest reclines to about a 50 degree angle. Although the footrest can be stopped in any position, THE BACKREST CAN ONLY BE RECLINED WHEN THE FOOTREST IS FULLY RAISED.

4. Dual Motor: This is an electric recliner with two motors; one operates the footrest and one operates the backrest. This allows completely independent movement which means you can operate the backrest whilst the footrest in down or operate the backrest while the footrest is in any position. It also reclines to an almost flat position.
